The DNA of Language mobile illustrates a passage from Sefer Yetzirah: “Twenty-two elemental letters. God set them in a wheel with 231 gates, turning forward and backward… Alef with all, all with alef; bet with all, all with bet, and so on—turning round and round within 231 gates.”

The work is based on the premise that the Hebrew language is formed through 231 letter pairings, generating a total of 924 permutations. There is no fixed beginning or end. Each letter aligns and realigns with every other letter, creating an ever-shifting system of relationships. Each section of the mobile rotates independently, while the entire structure also turns as a whole, responding to the air currents of its environment. The motion reflects the living, dynamic nature of language itself, constantly in flux, never static.
